Social Media Strategy

Importance of Social Media Strategy
Using social media is worthless and time wasting unless you can do something with it. Just having accounts on twitter, facebook, a channel at youtube or a blog won't attach you with your audience until you can have someone who can write a post, tweet for your organization, share content on Facebook and make a video for the targeted audience on youtube. Social media can be used in different ways either you can use for your personal entertainment or build a community for your company to engage the audience.

Sometimes people confused between two words strategy and tactics. There is a big difference in both of the strategy is a plan of action designed in such a way to achieve the particular goals or objectives set for the organization. Tactics are the ways by which a strategy carried out by the organization. Tactics are subjected by the organization for a specific value assigned to an object within a finite time frame. [Olivier Blanchard, 2011]

Before making a strategy and set tactics to achieve the results must learn what kind of audience you want to target for your organization. Earlier when a company designed product it produces messages to convey to their target audience they select primetime by using mass media channels such as television, radio, door to door flyers distribution, billboards years. This strategy still used by some marketing companies but now most are in footsteps of digital marketing just single click away.

Olivier Blanchard further explains "Nowadays social media makes the organization work more easy as hundreds of million people access social networking sites daily basis on the smart devices to share their opinions and discuss about brands. To make sure if you are using social media for your organization and looking target audience generate content that your audience finds interesting or they looking for that. [Olivier Blanchard, 2011]

Its important for companies and organizations to have a website for their consumers. The big problem is that they always look for cheap hosting no matters how big your business is you must give priority to your customer. Jermemy Wright (2005) trends you are starting of which your organization is a part, people see them and discuss them the challenge is for you how to respond them. The comments are the actual feedback by customers and it will let you know what the audience think about your product. Positive comment always opens the door for you while responding. It's an opportunity for your organization to build a positive experience relationship with a customer.  If your product and services are good remember social media plays its role and it will become the town hall experience of people coming together and exchange ideas that are far removed from the operations of your business [Jim Sterne, 2010)

See who search what on your official organization site, check what categories they click mostly on your blog most important on which kind of product they give reviews on the site.
